Copley Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Board Certified Otolaryngologist Paul Julien, MD, FRCS, FACS to its medical staff. “We are pleased to welcome Dr. Julien to our community hospital in our Center for Outpatient Services,” states Copley President Melvyn Patashnick. “He brings more than 20 years experience in Ear, Nose and Throat services.” Dr. Julien provides consultation and treatment for all ages; children and adults. As an ENT, Dr. Julien treats for a variety of diseases and disorders of the ear, nose and throat including earaches, sinus and nasal conditions, difficulty swallowing, treatment for snoring and sleep apnea. He also has vast experience in ear surgery. Dr. Julien received his medical degree from the University of Montreal and received additional training at the Hospital Cochin in Paris. He has also served as a clinical assistant professor in surgery at the University of Montreal. His professional experience includes twenty years in Montreal practicing at Hospital Maisonneuve-Rosemont and Hospital Jean-Talon. While living in the Washington, D.C. area from 1999 until 2005 he practiced at City Hospital and Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Since returning to the area, he also practices at North Country Hospital and North Western Medical Center. Dr. Julien and his wife Francoise reside in Newport. The parents of three grown children, they returned to the area to be closer to their families. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Julien enjoys cross country skiing and is an avid water skier.
